The slow fade into obscurity

Don’t forget folks, Keith Ranville came to Mahone Bay with interest in Little Gooseberry Island and four underwater doors located below the Middle River. He did not arrive in Nova Scotia with visions of Birch Island dancing in his head.

Birch Island is a result of Keith dropping his numerous wacky theories and being left with nothing else to show for his trip to Nova Scotia.

It is a matter of public record fact, for Keith’s original treasure trove application to not have included Birch Island. Further into this blog I offer a copy of Keith’s application, including the DNR charts. These items are a matter of public record and can be viewed at the Department of Natural Resources on Hollis St, Halifax NS.

Birch Island merely stemmed from google earth with the rational of relating a natural feature to the pyramid on the US dollar bill, to Atlantis, etc….

My issue with Keith, as many know, is in the fact of Keith attempting to dupe the general public through solicitation for investment based upon a fraudulent claim which detailed the geological conditions of Birch Island’s surface. He wants you to think someone dug deep down into Birch Island and left evidence on the surface, a claim which he cannot support.

Keith is not the first native to be interested in Oak Island and hopefully he will not be the last. Keith’s accusation of world wide racism towards him is quite laughable and demented. This stems from his lack of accepting folks just do not like him, due to in my opinion, he's a nasty individual who becomes hostile when challenged. One can easily visit many forums which Keith has infected to only see that he has been banned. This is the sole reason for him adopting the blog format.

While Keith may claim or self promote himself to be a legitimate researcher, the problem is his efforts are not grounded in reality.

At one time I had great concern for those folks who may have been duped by Ranville; however, that has not transpired as not a single person in the world has shown themselves to be gullible enough. One may wonder what happened to his movie and book deals, or even what happened to his ghost writing friend, they all seemed to have rightly dropped him.

Keith is once again constructing and punctuating his postings without assistance, and it certainly shows. One must wonder of Keith’s motives, to have others at one time, draft his texts for him.

Unfortunately for Keith, the Nova Scotia government will not grant him a treasure trove license, the Nova Scotia museum will not grant him a Heritage Research Permit, and the owner of Birch Island will not allow him on the property. I suggest the next vehicle he chooses for glory is something which he actually knows something about.
